Unless you are the type that absolutely must by gear straight from the official site, you’ll want to avoid the Samsung offer – they are less on Amazon and you’ll get an exclusive 2-year warranty there.
The Woot deal is on the international version of these buds. They are otherwise identical in just about every way, but reports suggest Samsung will not honor or cover them under warranty in the U.S. – you’ll have to seek out aid from the country of origin by the sounds of it and that’s almost certainly not going to be fun for folks in the U.S. The price, at literally $155 off the tag, is seriously enticing, and if you feel confident you won’t need to leverage the warranty, this is clearly the way to go.
Personally speaking, I’m on the fence. The Woot deal is a seriously massive one that won’t be around for long as it is directly tied to the BIRTHDAY promo code you can use at checkout. I also almost never need to leverage the warranty on brand new tech from the major brands. But call me lucky, and you’ll seriously wish you had one if something goes wrong in the first year (or two on the Amazon side of things).
